Creche 

Who? Birth to Age 4

When? Sunday mornings from 10am to 11am (during the Church service) during term time

Where? Meeting Room in The Church Hall

 

Information: We have a lovely room in the Church Hall with lots of toys and books for babies and toddlers. This area is supervised by adults each week on a rota basis. For more information please contact Judith Nelson on 07411445413.

Sunday School

Who? All children from age 4 to age 16

When? Sunday mornings from 10.15am to 11am, during term time

Where? The Church Hall

 

Information: We have three Sunday School classes which are age appropriate. We also have singing, and a musical group! Contact Steven Nelson on 07894806235.

Youth Club

Who? Year 8 and upwards

When? Every other Friday night, September to June, 7pm - 9pm

Cost? £1 per week

Where? Ballyblack Church Hall

 

Information: We have a tuck shop, sports, hockey, football, dodge ball, table tennis, crafts, cooking, pizza, Wii, air hockey, board games, and regular outings and trips!

Boys' Brigade

When? Every Monday night, 6.45pm to 8pm

Girls' Brigade

We meet every Tuesday night from September to April in the Church Hall.

 

Explorers and Tiny Tots meet from 7-8.00pm.  

Company Section meets from 7-9pm.

 

Mrs Mary Lemon was the very first Captain of Ballyblack Girls’ Brigade , which was affiliated in May 1963.  Followed by captains Mrs Agnes Henderson and Mrs Mollie Bailie.  In July 2006 the company came under the leadership of Mrs Norma Tennis and her officers, and in 2018 Lindsay Curran became Captain.


Our Company is divided into 5 sections:

Tiny Tots (3-4 years)

Explorers (5-7 years)

Juniors (8-10 years)

Seniors (11-13 years)

Brigaders (14+ years)

 

All girls of 3 years and upwards are very welcome.


Our Badgework consists of 4 parts – Spiritual, Physical, Educational and Service.

Presbyterian Women

Who? Presbyterian Women (PW) is an organisation for women within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland (PCI). There have been women’s organisations within PCI for over 130 years. We have a varied programme of speakers, displays and outings at which new members will be most welcome!

 

When? The 3rd Thursday of every month from September to May. Usually starting at 7.30pm.

Indoor Bowling Club

 

Ballyblack Presbyterian Church Indoor Bowling Club meet on a Wednesday night at 7.30pm from September until the end of March.

 

We play friendly matches among ourselves and with neighbouring Church clubs. We also take part in the Brian Conlon Cancer Tournament, this year, raising £1250 for the Children's Hospice.

Ballyblack Ramblers

The Ramblers is a small walking group open to everyone, whether members of the Church or just friends. Our aim is friendship and walking, for exercise and relaxation.

 

We meet in the Church Car Park on Monday mornings at 9.30am. Everyone welcome!


We have been going now for over two years and walks arranged over the spring, summer and autumn include a Sunday afternoon a month and evening walks every alternate Thursday evening.


Everyone will be warmly welcomed and We should have something for all capabilities.
